Shining The Light On Knowledge

I am formerly known as Jonathan Smith a few people know me as Jay Whoppa. Southeast Washington D.C. has always been home to me where I was born and raised with just a few of my younger 10 siblings.  I'm the eldest of my mom's 6 children and my dad's overall 11 children. I just celebrated another year of growth, just turning 33 November 30, 2018. Growing up, I recall the good and the bad times. It was good being a child while not knowing. Getting all the toys and gadgets while staying up on all the hottest trends was cool. Being that my mom had 6 children with two sets of twins back to back; I had to help raise them, and all the gadgets became less and less.  It seemed like a bad thing because I was still a child.  I started to see and know what responsibility looked like. I was forced to recognize responsibility early, and it was no big deal at the time I thought.

As a teenager, my mom had gotten tired since she raised 6 children single-handedly. I branched out and endured in the streets.  In my quest of being the man of the house and trying to make things better for my mom, I sold drugs unbeknownst to her. This behavior only worsened matters. Once I got arrested at 13, my mom got wind of my doings, and she worried about me every time she heard gunshots and sirens.  I was becoming an image of a bad person to some, but I was also being perceived as good for the things I accumulated and gave to others.  It was too late for my mom to convince me to stop what I was doing. I was pledged in too far. After continuously going to jail from age 13 to 26, I had a son and decided to want more in life. I had my son at age 26. I advise the youth of today to wait until you are at least 30 years old before thinking about having children and committing to the opposite sex. You must only commit to maturing and knowing self-first. Then you know the Creator and explore the world before settling down and being engaged. I once was looked upon as a statistic of wrongdoing.

Oh, in case you all need further proof of the assurance of my truth written here in this booklet; look up the video on YouTube, by Kazon Feat Jay Whoppa INTRODUCTION TO WE.  In my lyrics I spoke, I said “13 caught and offense, 14 copped a whip Praise to The Most High…I live to see 26!”

I have now grown and matured enough to become so aware of the statistics involving life. I am an average guy that has put in the work of reading, understanding, seeking knowledge and the hidden truths of life. We may all at one point, or another have seen images of others being successful and tried comparing ourselves to them. Not knowing what obstacles that individual may have endured to getting the status they have. Man and woman, we must focus on the self. To this very day, I do not point fingers or judge anyone. I do not hold the court systems, family members, or any secret societies to the benchmark of not knowing the basics of life. However, From Day 1 my Mom and I were not fully aware of Truth. Just to be clear…my mother and father have been wonderful parents to me. Had we known truth, Had we known truth, I now know I never would have experienced jail, Taxation nor the many Laws that are presumed as Privileges today!!!

I decided to continue this process in small bites. Look forward to part two, Coming Soon!!!  I would like to thank you for your support and for choosing this book.
